What We Collect

Short answer: Nothing.

CompressPixel collects zero personal data, zero usage data, and zero image data.

How Image Compression Works

CompressPixel uses your browser's local storage (IndexedDB and localStorage) to provide enhanced features:

CompressPixel does not use:

Content Delivery

CompressPixel is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps) as described in their Privacy Policy . We do not have access to or control over Vercel's logging.

You can verify that we never upload your images by inspecting network activity:

View all locally stored data in the "Compression History" section or browser DevTools

Data Deletion

Click "Clear History" button or clear your browser's site data to remove all local data

Data Portability

Export your compression history using browser DevTools (standard IndexedDB format)

CompressPixel complies with GDPR by design: No personal data collected → No data to protect. No tracking → No consent needed. Users have full control over locally stored data.

We do not sell or share personal information because we don't collect it. Users have full control over locally stored data.

COPPA (Children's Privacy)

CompressPixel does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. COPPA compliance is inherent to our architecture.
