Images
Every tool on this site (compress, resize, convert, HEIC, GIF and EXIF removal) runs inside your browser using WebAssembly builds of open-source codecs: MozJPEG, OxiPNG, libwebp, libavif, libheif and Gifsicle. The code is downloaded to your browser; your files are not uploaded anywhere. Results exist only in your tab’s memory until you save them or close the page.
Settings stored on this device
To save you re-entering them, each tool remembers its quality, colour and max-size settings in your browser’s localStorage. No images or file names are stored. You can remove them at any time:
AI markup review
The optional “Check your image markup” tool on the Core Web Vitals guide sends only the text you paste to our server, which forwards it to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate suggestions. It isn’t stored by us. Don’t paste anything confidential. No images are ever sent.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookie-free and doesn’t collect personal data or track you across sites.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and requested URL) for security and operations.
