What We Collect

CompressPixel collects zero personal data, zero usage data, and zero image data.
How Image Compression Works
You select an image file from your device
Your browser reads the file using JavaScript (File API)
The image is processed using browser-native HTML5 Canvas API
Compression happens entirely within your browser's memory
The compressed image is generated and offered for download

Content Delivery
CompressPixel is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps) as described in their Privacy Policy . We do not have access to or control over Vercel's logging.

You can verify that we never upload your images by inspecting network activity:
Open Browser DevTools (press F12)
Go to the Network tab
Compress an image
Observe: No image data is sent to any server
Check Application tab: All data is in IndexedDB/localStorage
This is verifiable proof of client-side processing.

Data Access
View all locally stored data in the "Compression History" section or browser DevTools
Data Deletion
Click "Clear History" button or clear your browser's site data to remove all local data
Data Portability
Export your compression history using browser DevTools (standard IndexedDB format)

CompressPixel complies with GDPR by design: No personal data collected → No data to protect. No tracking → No consent needed. Users have full control over locally stored data.

We do not sell or share personal information because we don't collect it. Users have full control over locally stored data.
COPPA (Children's Privacy)
CompressPixel does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. COPPA compliance is inherent to our architecture.
